I’m Ben.

I’ve spent three years in and around private equity, most of it finding founder led businesses and getting to know the people who run them. I’ve run acquisition programmes across the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.

I’ve also worked on the other side. I wrote the marketing strategy for an EdTech startup, and they offered me equity to run it. I devised the business model behind a winning entry to a major studio’s national business competition.

Sightline is where I do this work for founders directly: what’s holding the business back now, and who’s right to run a sale or raise when the time comes.
